Personally, I think this did well. We got to see each of the ponies' characteristics IN CONFLICT with each other. This is what the highlight of most of the episodes are, and it was nice to see all six thrown in there instead of just one or two, such as in Feeling Pinkie Keen or Look Before You Sleep. It was also great to see the characters' plans for the Grand Galloping Gala, which is kind of fun to compare them to what actually happens in The Best Night Ever.
