Personally, I think this was a much better follow-up to the pilot. The characters were more clearly defined, and we got to see a badass fight scene to top it off. It was also nice to see a monster (the Manticore) stopping our heroes who WASN'T a dragon (as it is in most TV Shows). This is probably one of my favorite episodes.
